Social Media Blackout (Friday, March 21, 2025)

Boycott of Twitter (X), Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Quest), & TikTok for 24 hours

While some people choose to boycott for only 24 hours, many will permanently cut ties with these outlets and have no plans to return.

I am no longer on Twitter and am only using Meta tools to “punch up” at those in power (but I won’t be on those platforms during this boycott).

If you’re looking for alternative social media outlets, I will be on BlueSky and Substack during the boycott (and am spending more and more time there).
