This post was supposed to come to you tomorrow... or sometime next week, but I've got time now, and next week looks like it will be a wild one.

I stagger my weeks to manage my workload (and allow us to move to places that don't have the lightning-fast cellular I need for my streaming and video calls).

I’m creating a new community on Substack, and I hope you’ll join me as a free member. I also have paid subscriptions that are only $5/month (less if you subscribe annually) if you want access to bonus content. To receive new posts (like this one) delivered directly to your inbox 2-3 times each week, please consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. Free subscribers get content, too! Everyone gets something (because I believe education should be accessible).

One week, I have many calls (primarily via Zoom) and give presentations to my clients (on whatever platform they are most used to). The following week, I am still working... but on quiet, creative, and administrative tasks that don't require high-speed internet or human interaction. This helps ensure I have both recovery time (because human interactions drain me) and time to do the work I promise people - because I could easily be on calls all day otherwise.

The weeks I have calls and/or presentations are challenging, but spacing them out and alternating them has been life-changing - helping me to prevent burnout.

Next week, is a calls week, and in addition to that, we've got an RV service appointment on Monday.

After the RV appointment, I've got a full schedule for the rest of the week (including but not limited to):

  • A dry run for a virtual web panel I'm going to be on in October.

  • An Executive Coaching call with a client I TRULY enjoy speaking to

  • A video podcast recording about the future of NeuroDivergent workplace inclusion

  • An after-dark live broadcast on the NR Facebook page

  • A zoom call with another advocate to brainstorm

  • Two rehearsals for two breakouts I'm leading for a conference in October

  • THIS Substack post, plus two more

  • In addition to checking emails, doing some accounting, and some light social media work that I do between tasks and don't track.

Paid subscribers have access to the full post.

NeuroDivergent Rebel’s Substack is a reader-supported publication. Paid subscribers can read the rest of this post as a thanks for their support. To receive new posts and support my work, please consider becoming a paid subscriber (for just $5 a month - less when you subscribe annually).
