This isn’t JUST a NeuroDiversity Blog

“What does THIS have to do with NeuroDivergence?”

Is a question I get from time to time (from people who are upset because they have falsely assumed due to the name of this blog) that this blog is only about NeuroDiversity and NeuroDivergence.

Sometimes what I am sharing actually DOES have something to do with NeuroDivergence (but the person asking isn’t informed enough to understand how).

Sometimes I might write a post that has nothing to do with NeuroDivergence.

Yes, as the name suggests, I DO talk about NeuroDivergence sometimes… but that’s not the only “focus” of this blog.

I AM the NeuroDivergent Rebel - this is a blog about my life, my experiences, and my thoughts…

As so many ableist people have reminded me over the years - I am “MORE than my NeuroDivergence” (and yet it also influences everything in my life).

So… if you’re here because you thought I would cut myself down to one element of my identity (my NeuroDivergence), leaving the rest behind (so that I am more easily digested)… you’ll be disappointed (and I am not sorry to disappoint you).
