Yeah, I appreciate you sharing your experience and knowledge. I did actually do an in-text citation on my dissertation about how Autistic adolescents experience grief. I mentioned how different words are used for Neurodivergent compared to Neurotypical. Experience the same emotions, but in reality it can be intense and overwhelming. Well, I got a first class honours. So, your work definitely does make a difference.
I'm so honored you were able to use my work to lift your work up. That's what it is there for - to lift up the community, and the work we need to do together!
Definitely, it helped to identify that grief seen as a trauma response. In addition, helped to identify what happens when not understood it leads to double empathy problems. I feel that is why itโs important that voices like yours are heard. We are all in it together!
I think, most importantly, we learn to lift one another up... but lots of trauma in our community leaves people fighting each other instead far too often.
I agree. I believe since Covid-19 the planet has experienced collective trauma. A lot has been around for centuries, but it all coming up to the surface now. Itโs government and mainstream media that led to going against each other. Now is the time to unite and support each other as much as possible. Well usually see good in humanity during challenging times, which is happening right now.
